Under section 10 of the Employment Relations Act 1999 an employee and/or worker has the right to be represented by a colleague or a trade union representative at a disciplinary and grievance hearing, including an appeal hearing. They do not have the right to bring a friend or a family member who is not an employee.

What is the cost of HR-Onsite’s service?

Our costs are based on an 8-hour day that includes our time attending the meeting and then drafting our report. We anticipate the matter will be concluded within this period and we charge for one 8-hour day. Although we don’t charge for travel to attend your premises, the cost will be reduced if we hold the meeting remotely by video-conference.
