Holding Employee Meetings on Behalf of Businesses
Holding HR-related meetings can be difficult and stressful, even for the most experienced managers and professionals.
At HR-Onsite we don’t offer advice or provide you with contracts or handbooks. We’re not a ‘jack of all trades’ but we are a master of one – holding HR meetings with employees on behalf of businesses.
Let us remove the stress, anxiety, and pitfalls on you holding such meetings and allow us to meet with your employee on your behalf. We use our experience and expertise to provide your employee with a professional, non-confrontational meeting and we will make recommendations to you for a fair outcome to the matter.

Learn more about HR-Onsite
With 25 years’ experience helping businesses, HR-Onsite will provide you with pragmatic as well as legal solutions to workplace problems for the benefit of your business.
Founded by Andrew McCabe, HR-Onsite is not like other HR providers. We don’t offer advice because we want to retain our independence, you’re not tied into any long-term contract so you can use us whenever you want, and we don’t penalise you for not doing what we suggest.
The benefits of using HR-Onsite
- You are free to run your business in the knowledge the matter is being dealt with correctly, efficiently, professionally, and independently.
- There is no long-term contract, you just use us when you need us. We don’t charge for services you don’t need.
- You avoid allegations by employees that the outcome is a foregone conclusion or that you just want to get rid of them.
- We focus just on the issues at hand without being influenced by any historic issues between you and the employee.
- We take the emotion out of holding meetings. The employee may be a family member or a long-time friend which may be awkward for you to hold the meeting.
- We will consider the wider issues of the matter and will highlight to you any potential problems that the business could face in the future.
- We provide you with a detailed report based upon the oral and documentary evidence provided to us as well as providing you with our recommendations for an outcome to the matter.
- You don’t have to feel intimidated by the attendance of a Trade Union representative who may try to confuse the issues or make threats of litigation against your business.

FAQ's
Under section 10 of the Employment Relations Act 1999 an employee or worker has the right to be represented by a colleague or a trade union representative at a disciplinary and grievance hearing, including appeals. They do not have the right to bring a friend or a family member who is not an employee.
HR-Onsite holds a range of meetings on behalf of businesses who may not want, or be unable, to hold such meetings. We hold meetings on an independent basis, we will consider both sides of the argument, and will provide the company with a detailed report that includes recommendations for the outcome to the matter based upon the evidence provided to us. That may not be the same outcome the company was seeking but we must notify the company of any concerns in following a route that could be detrimental to them.
Following our attendance at the company’s site to hold the meeting we will provide a detailed report stating the events leading to the reason for the meeting, what was said and discussed in the meeting, what oral and documentary evidence was provided to us, our findings based on that evidence, and our recommendations for an outcome to the matter. The report will be provided within 5 working days of the meeting unless there are exceptional circumstances preventing us from complying with that timeframe, which we will notify to you beforehand.
Our costs are less than our competitors because we don’t have their overheads, which they will pass on to you. We don’t charge for the costs incurred in travelling to and from your site. Our costs commence when we arrive at your site to hold the meeting and end when we provide you with our report, all of which we anticipate will take approximately 8 hours work. We have a two-tier charge if you prefer that we hold the meeting by video-conference (Zoom, Teams, etc) rather than attend in-person. Call us today for more information about our cost structure.
